Q1. Is it a university affiliated college?
Ans. Yes. It is affiliated with Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, HNB Garhwal Central University, Srinagar, Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University, Tehri Garhwal and Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee.

Q2. Is this college differs with the Government Colleges?
Ans. No. All the colleges whether private or government affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, HNB Garhwal Central University, Srinagar, Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University, Tehri Garhwal and Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee, will have same syllabus and same degree subject to the university.

Q3. Why I should take admission in RCP only?
Ans. RCP is providing not only education but it is imparting value education with many value added courses. We are focusing on overall grooming of the personality of a student. They are prepared to face all the challenges in pursuit of rewarding career after their graduations. Excellent Academic Ambience.

Q4. Is medium of education in English only?
Ans. Yes. Medium of education is English. Students will be writing their answer scripts in English only in all their examinations. But we take special care for the students of Hindi medium in explaining things to the best of their convenience.

Q5. I am throughout Hindi medium student. Am I able to cope up with the course?
Ans. Yes. With the special pedagogy adopted for the Hindi medium students we take all possible concern for such students.

Q6. Is Hostel facility available in the Campus?
Ans. Yes. We have Separate boys and girls hostels within the campus with sufficient intake to cater the need. Hostel facility is provided on first come first served basis.

Q7. Is it compulsory to live in College Hostel?
Ans. No.

Q8. Does college provide Transportation?
Ans. Yes. With the fleet of buses commuting from all important routes and links to various strategic locations of area.

Q9. What is the uniqueness of RCP?
Ans. Promoted by Rev. (Dr) Aswini Kumar, Managing Trustee of RCP and having successful track record of its existing colleges RCP is all-set to achieve remarkable success in the field of education. All the programmes are beautifully blended with the reasonable exposure from the industry in the form of guest lectures, industrial visits, case studies, mini projects and trainings.

Q10. Is the campus fully Wi-Fi?
Ans. Yes, the campus including the hostels are fully Wi-Fi.

Q11. Whether we will get degree from RCP or Affiliating Universities?
Ans. Degree will be provided by Affiliating Universities same as provided to the students of any other affiliated college.

Q12. Is fees allowed to be paid in installments?
Ans. No. Fees is to be deposited per annum.

Q13. Whether college provide any finance facility?
Ans. No. But we provide related documentary support required from college to get education loan with any of the banks.

Q14. Whether college provides any scholarships?
Ans. Yes. Scholarships are to be provided to meritorious students and economical weaker segment of the society.

Q15. What is the status of faculties in the college?
Ans. College is having pool of highly qualified and experienced faculties in every area.

Q16. Will the application forms be issued? Where can it be found?
Ans. Online registration is available throughout the year at our institution website. The forms can be obtained physically from the RCP Campus on any working day from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm.

Q17. Should I contact the admission cell members before I apply?
Ans. Admission cell members welcome email from prospective students. However, during admissions season, when there might be as many as 5000 prospective applicants writing email, they might not be able to reply to all; or they might have a policy of forwarding the message to the department's admissions office for administrators to reply. A lack of direct and personal reply does not indicate a lack of interest on the member's part. On the contrary, admission cell members often take note of the prospective applicant's name and course interest and watch specifically for the full application to be submitted for a full evaluation. Therefore, contacting admission cell members is worthwhile, and a judiciously placed, carefully worded email can pave the way for your admission even if you don't get a personal reply.

Q18. Can I apply to more than one course?
Ans. Yes. You will have to submit single application for two courses and also mention your priorities for the courses. e.g. if students wish to have admission in B.TECH CSE course as first priority and B.TECH ECE course as second priority then he/she should fill single application form by giving priority for the same.

Q19. Can I submit a supporting document after the deadline?
Ans. We will accept supporting documents starting from the course till it needs to send to university but be aware that late documents will delay the chances of rejecting your admission by the university.

Q20. What are the documents required for admission?
Ans. High School Mark Sheet and Certificate, Intermediate Mark Sheet and Certificate, 10 Passport photographs, Migration / TC, affidavit in case of gap, if any, in education, Character and cast certificate (not required for general candidate) or any other document which is required by the University. Please be sure that all the documents have been submitted to the Institute.

Q21. Are campus tours and information sessions available?
Ans. The Office of Admission is open each weekday from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, except for Institute holidays. We offer information sessions and tours throughout the year; for up-to-date availability and to make an appointment for your visit, see our website.

Q22. How safe is the campus?
Ans. The RCP does a great deal to promote the safety of its students. Unlike most institutions, the RCP has its own professionally trained security guards that patrols the campus frequently.

Q23. Should the parents come along with the candidate?
Ans. It is compulsory to come at least once during the admission process.
